The visual identity was in opposition to the brand essence and personality the company intended to portray to their audience. As the consultant, I singlehandedly preformed the rebrand, constructing the new visual identity, reinventing all digital and print marketing collateral, and building a new company website from the ground up. In order to define the new visual system and brand voice, I led branding exercises with upper level management. A company which seeks to bring awareness to the sophistication and complexity of Indian coffee, Coffee Ideas Inc, was challenged with the task of marketing Marc’s Coffee Roaster’s sustainably sourced products and sharing the story of Indian coffee to a cross-cultural audience. The target audience had varying access to resources which posed a challenge for popular marketing strategies with a digital first focus.
